Hear ye, hear ye! Another progress report dawns!

This time I want to talk a bit about the “UI revamp” I’m doing! Currently the UI on the game is a bit lacking, both the inventory and stat screen is serviceable but they don’t contain enough information and they are a bit ugly…

Thus it became very clear to me I needed to address these problems sooner, rather than later to not “spook” new players! First, a new design(I’m not a designer, so bear with me, lol)

As you can see you will be able to check your quests, codex, stats and achievements directly from the UI (This was absolute HELL to code, so I expect many a bug, sorry!)

The Codex is still being worked on, but you will be able to check not only the girls(and boys) but also a “compedium” of sort with item descriptions, random tidbits of lore and a bit about the setting of Monster Lord!

Here’s Vexx page. In here there’s a couple of things to note. You can click on the scribbles to read about Vexx’s lore, the more LUST you collect with him the more you’ll learn!

Right below, the purple hearts you will be able to unlock them as you gather lust, and with that a pretty picture of your fish boy! (Wip feature, I want your feedback!)

And then finally, the pictures on the right will be the anticipated CG gallery!

Naturally, when you progress on the character story, you will unlock the picture, and then you will be able to revisit the scene as much as you want!

So in summary, lore, some fun sketches and a gallery all in one.

The update is coming along quite nicely, and even if it doesn’t have story progression or sexy stuff on it, I’m quite excited to get this thing up and running.
